Sign the Petition. In early June, Friends of Wolf Creek learned about a letter that Leavell-McCombs Joint Venture sent to the Forest Service demanding that they ignore recent court decisions and instead to immediately grant access so the developers can proceed with the work needed to construct roads and “begin development of the private land immediately.”
You can help us keep Wolf Creek Pass wild! Please sign the petition urging Rio Grande National Forest Supervisor Dan Dallas to uphold Federal Court Orders and stand up to back channel pressures. Together, we can stop bulldozers on Wolf Creek Pass.
Stay Informed. While we wait for the land exchange decision to work its way through the court system we are asking our supporters to stay informed and help us to continue to build our network. This fight isn’t over yet, and we need to be ready to mobilize public support when the appropriate time comes.
